“People Think I’m Uneducated But Will Like To Correct That”, Imisi & BBNAIJA 10 Winner
The winner of Big Brother Naija Season 10, Imisioluwa Ayanwale, popularly known as Imisi, has opened up about her experiences in the house, her friendship with fellow housemate Kola, and the misconceptions about her personality and style.
Speaking during an interview on the Pulse NG Podcast on Sunday, October 12, 2025, Imisi discussed life after the show, her fashion choices, and the relationships she built during her time in the house. When asked about her relationship with Kola, Imisi said, “Kola is an amazing person. I feel so good about him.”
Addressing speculations that Kola befriended her because he anticipated her eventual victory, she denied the claims, saying, “Oh, definitely not. I think Kola started telling me I was going to win eight weeks, nine weeks. I don’t think he had an idea of the whole thing in the house. I was going to win. No.” Asked about Kola’s relationship with Didi, she explained, “Nothing. Like, there are many times I’ve talked to Kola about who I really like, who Didi is. I feel like this is the kind of person you should build a relationship around and all of that.”
On the topic of her fashion and style, which some viewers described as an act, Imisi defended her unique expression, saying, “Yeah, that is something. I love being weird and I enjoy being weird. So, I just want to do something.” When asked how she coped with the stress of life in the Big Brother house, she revealed, “Prayer.”
Speaking further on how she spent her time in the house, she said, “Painting my face,” when asked about what she did with the extra time saved from cooking duties. Asked what she would change if given a chance to go back, Imisi responded confidently, “Nothing.” She also addressed a major misconception about her, stating, “That I am uneducated. I would like to correct that.”
