A viral video has surfaced showing Reverend Ezekiel Dachomo, an outspoken Nigerian pastor from Plateau State and the Regional Chairman of the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN) in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area, laying curses on Reno Bemigho Omokri — a Nigerian author, columnist, adventurer, and social media influencer.

In the video, the visibly enraged pastor placed curses on Reno Omokri for denying that there is an ongoing genocide against Christians, particularly in the northern part of the country.

The cleric accused Reno Omokri of engaging in questionable dealings with the government, but stated that this time, Omokri had crossed the line. Reverend Dachomo further declared that the only hope for Reno is repentance — along with the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) officials who also denied the existence of such genocide. He warned that unless they all repent, they would not escape the curse.

The trending video has sparked widespread reactions online, with many users tagging Reno Omokri on X (formerly Twitter), urging him to seek forgiveness from the cleric to avert the curse.
