“You Are The Worst Lawyer”, Davido Blast Sophie Imade’s Lawyer (pics)
The singer made this known in a series of emotional posts shared on his Instagram stories late Friday, where he explained that he was never seeking full custody but rather joint custody of his daughter.
Davido stated that the case had no real winner, adding that the situation had negatively affected Imade, which was why he felt it was wrong for anyone to celebrate the legal dispute.
He said he decided to drop the matter after becoming deeply upset by what he described as an offensive reference to his late son, Ifeanyi Adeleke during court proceedings, calling it an unacceptable low blow.

The singer maintained that his daughter would grow up knowing he stood up for her, while urging everyone to move forward.
“1. I never asked for full custody … I asked for joint custody
“2. Nobody won , nobody lost but Imade … so I don’t know why some pple r celebrating.. there’s nothing to celebrate.
“3 . I’ve decided to drop the case because when I was spanking that lawyer in the court room all .. she would get so frustrated .. because normally I finish school .. I was finishing her .. until she brought out her last card ! MY DECEASED SON ! THATS A NO NO ! Lowest blow!
“4. My daughter will grow up knowing I fought for her .. let’s move on ❤️🙏 One love !”
Davido criticised Ebelechukwu Egeonu Enedah, the lawyer representing Sophia Momodu, accusing her of acting unprofessionally by making hurtful remarks about his late son during the court session.
“@belachukwu … I disgraced you in the courtroom.. I was teaching you your work you couldn’t even take it and then went on to mention My Son.. like I said in the courtroom I pray you never go through what me and my wife have gone through ever .. and u were still smiling smirking .. u are a wicked human being. UR THE WORST LAWYER EVER I BEAT YOU IN COURT! YOU ARE NOT LEARNED.”
The custody battle initially drew public attention after a lawyer, Maruf Mohammed, claimed on X that Davido appeared in court in Yaba, Lagos, on Thursday and became visibly angry during cross-examination, allegedly causing tension in the courtroom.
